Drunk Arizona mom smashes through a parking gate at Sky Harbor Airport

515-Janet-MartinezPHOENIX, Ariz. – Janet Martinez, 43, of Arizona, is charged with DWI after she smashes through a parking gate at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. According to police reports, she had her 3 children in the vehicle with her.

Surveillance video shows Martinez smashing through an airport parking barrier. A parking lot supervisor talked to Martinez and stopped her at an exit booth lane by convincing her to turn her car keys over until the police came.

Police told that her car was out of control. She drove around the Airport parking area, running over curbs and passing by the cars present in the parking area missing them barely.

When police arrived, they observed that Martinez was drunk and she was upset. She was not able to walk steadily on her feet and was staggering. She also smelled of alcohol.

She was charged with drunk driving.
